London based team Shimell and Madden have been creating unusual, eye-catching structures since 2010 and describe themselves as “occupying that space where craft, art and fashion intersect. High quality and hand-crafted, their jewellery explores themes of science, nature and time.”
Emma Madden’s expertise is in craft and conceptual design, inspired by the universality of mathematics. Luke Shimell’s extensive experience as a goldsmith enables him to develop their designs into intricate pieces of exactitude.
They have a few stockists in the UK, regularly exhibit at art and jewellery fairs, were recently featured in the Daily Telegraph and their jewellery has been wore by the likes of Lauren Laverne.
Pieces range from £160 – £1,600 and can be viewed in their online shop: http://shop.shimellandmadden.com/
