Kids either love or loathe fireworks, ours love the visual aspect but are petrified of the bangs. We found a solution last year, cheap ear defenders, these meant we could watch a whole display without having to retreat with 3 screaming under 5’s at great speed! There are some great local displays to try this year…………..

10th November. This year’s extravaganza will be bigger and better with live entertainment, music and a spectacular fireworks display set to the signature musical soundtrack. Take your place at one of the viewing points in and around the centre from 6pm to enjoy an evening of entertainment through until around 8pm.
Free Admission. This is a non-ticketed event.
AGEAS BOWL FIREWORKS PARTY
The Ageas Bowl’s ever-popular annual Fireworks Party is back on Friday 4th November this year and is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before, with a music soundtrack accompanying a 20 minute firework display. Gates open at 6pm show commences 7.30pm

MAYFLOWER PARK FIREWORKS
November 5th, gates open at 3pm to funfair, live entertainment 6pm and fireworks at 7.45pm. Tickets available online.
ARLEBURY PARK FIREWORKS
Friday 4th November 6pm-11pm. One of the highlights of the Alresford year is the spectacle of the traditional torchlight procession that takes place on Bonfire Night. At the start of the annual event, excited crowds gather at the top of Broad Street and at 7pm they light their wax flare candles and process along West Street to an impressive fireworks display at Arlebury Park. The event, run by Alresford Rotary, also includes Guys made by local children, music and hot refreshments. All proceeds from the event support local, national and international Rotary charities.
Tickets can be bought from Six West nearer the date.

As well as the main event there will be entertainers including fire breathers and a funfair with rides at very reasonable rates. The evening has lots on offer to keep you entertained before the big fireworks finale and with free parking for all, the evening promises to offer excellent value for money.
With additional savings also on offer to those who have purchased advance tickets, the HMS Sultan Bonfire & Fireworks Night 2016 is sure to be a night to remember. The gates will open on the day at 6pm, with the Bonfire lit at 7:15pm and the main display at 8pm. The gates will close at 10:30pm.
